This Return and Refund Policy outlines our guidelines for refunds, cancellations, and dispute resolution for our services. Please read this policy carefully before engaging our services.
By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this Return & Refund Policy.
Definitions
For the purpose of this policy, the following terms are defined as:
- Services: Any digital services, software development, consulting, or other professional services provided by WorksDelight.
- Client: The individual or organization that has contracted WorksDelight for services.
- Project: The specific work agreed upon between WorksDelight and the Client in a formal contract or statement of work.
- Deliverable: Any output, including but not limited to software, designs, documentation, or reports, produced by WorksDelight as part of the Services.
- Milestone: A predefined checkpoint in a project that marks the completion of a specific phase or deliverable.
Digital Services
Due to the nature of digital services and intellectual property, most of our services are non-refundable once work has begun. This includes but is not limited to:
- Custom software development
- Website and application development
- Design and UI/UX services
- Digital marketing services
- AI and machine learning solutions
Once we have begun work on your project, we have allocated resources, time, and expertise that cannot be fully recouped if the project is canceled.
Custom Development Projects
For custom development projects, the following refund policies apply:
Before Work Begins
If you cancel a project before we have begun any work:
- 100% refund of any deposits or advance payments if canceled within 48 hours of payment
- 80% refund if canceled after 48 hours but before work begins
After Work Begins
If you cancel a project after work has begun:
- No refund for work already completed
- Partial refund may be provided for portions of the project not yet started, at our discretion
- Administration fees may be deducted from any refund amount
Consulting Services
For consulting services, including strategy sessions, training, and advisory services:
- Full refund if canceled more than 72 hours prior to a scheduled session
- 50% refund if canceled between 24-72 hours prior to a scheduled session
- No refund for cancellations less than 24 hours before a scheduled session
- No refund after a consulting session has taken place
Milestone-Based Payments
For projects with milestone-based payment structures:
- Payments for completed milestones are non-refundable
- If a project is terminated before a milestone is completed, payment will be prorated based on the percentage of work completed towards that milestone
- Disputes regarding milestone completion will be resolved according to the terms outlined in the project contract and our dispute resolution process
Satisfaction Guarantee
While we don't offer traditional refunds for most services, we do stand behind the quality of our work. If you are not satisfied with a deliverable, we will:
- Work with you to address any concerns or issues
- Make reasonable revisions within the scope of the original project requirements
- Ensure the final deliverable meets the specifications outlined in the project contract
Our commitment is to deliver high-quality work that meets or exceeds your expectations.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel a project or service:
- Notify us in writing as soon as possible at support@worksdelight.org
- Include your project or contract details in your notification
- We will acknowledge your cancellation request within 2 business days
- We will work with you to determine any applicable refunds based on this policy and the specific terms of your project contract
For ongoing services or subscriptions, please note that you must cancel at least 14 days before the next billing cycle to avoid being charged for the upcoming period.
Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute regarding refunds or project cancellations:
- Contact our customer support team to discuss the issue
- If the issue cannot be resolved through customer support, it will be escalated to management
- We may request additional information or documentation to help resolve the dispute
- If an agreement cannot be reached, the dispute resolution provisions in your contract will apply
We are committed to finding fair and reasonable solutions to any disputes that may arise.
Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Return & Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. It is your responsibility to review this policy periodically for changes. Your continued use of our services following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
